Girls Night Out Versus Your New Lifestyle

Do you find it hard to balance hanging out with your friends and maintaining your healthy lifestyle? I know this can be a challenge, because peer pressure is REAL and I have experienced it often.

Here are my three top tips for staying on track while kicking it with your girls 😊

1. Eat before you go!

The less hungry you are, the better! Everything won’t seem so tempting if you are already full 🤷🏽‍♀️

2. If you MUST drink, go with the low carb options!

Understand that drinking can affect your results, but low carb drinks will be your best bet. Mixed drinks and most wines are LOADED with sugar and carbs...if it is fruity or sweet, AVOID IT! Straight liquor is actually the best option. My go to is vodka mixed with Zevia, Zevia Ginger Beer, or fresh squeezed lemonade sweetened with Swerve 😋

3. Focus on FUN!

Remember the purpose of the outing is to enjoy your girlfriends and to have fun! It’s not about the food or the drinks. You can dance and have a great time without all the extra. Don’t overthink it, and don’t make a big deal about your diet one wants to hear all of that! 😂 Just have a good time, make good choices, and be proud of yourself ❤️
