If you are like me and are following a ketogenic diet, you may wonder how to incorporate fruit in your diet…especially when the fruit is no longer in season. Enter this delicious Keto Berry Smoothie Recipe to the rescue!
This smoothie is a great way to get in some berries and fat for a filling meal replacement option no matter the time of year. Berries are great because they are low in sugar, high in fiber, and also have great brain boosting superpowers. You could add your favorite protein powder, avocado, some nuts, MCT oil, spinach…whatever your heart desires (as long as you keep it low carb that is!).
For us women who still have a period, getting some raw foods in is beneficial during the ovulation phase of our monthly cycle. Smoothies are a fun option in addition to salads, or simply eating fresh berries.
